Idle Ages privacy policy

Who is responsible

Idle Ages is made by Hollow Soul Studios, the controller for this policy. You can reach us at support@hollowsoulstudios.com. Our company details are on the imprint page.

The data we collect: none

Idle Ages does not collect personal data and does not share any data with anyone. In particular:

• There are no analytics.
• There is no advertising and no ads SDK.
• There is no crash reporting to us.
• There is no account and no sign-in.
• The game has no server of its own.

This matches the game's Google Play Data safety answer: no data collected, no data shared.

Your game progress

Your progress is stored locally on your device only. It is never sent to us. If you uninstall the game or clear its app data, your progress is deleted. We cannot restore it, because we never have a copy.

Purchases

Optional purchases are handled entirely by Google Play. When you buy something, the game receives only a purchase confirmation token from Google Play so that it can unlock the item. We never see your payment details, such as your card number.

In the version you download from our website (APK), purchases are not available.

To handle purchases, the game includes Google's Play Billing Library. Google may collect technical diagnostic data about the purchase process through it; that is Google's processing, not ours, and we never receive it. Google processes your payment under its own terms. Feedback by email

The game has an optional feedback button. It opens your own mail app with a new message to us, already filled in with the game version and a short summary of your village to help us answer. You can read, change or remove this before sending. Nothing is sent unless you send that email yourself. We receive only what you choose to send, and we use it only to reply to you. We keep it only as long as needed to handle your message.

Notifications

If you turn on notifications, they are scheduled on your device by the game itself. They send no data to us or to anyone else. You can turn them off at any time in your Android settings.

Permissions

The game asks Android for these permissions:

• Notifications, vibration, wake lock and run at startup: to show the reminders you turn on, also after your phone restarts.
• Internet and network state: used only by Google Play to handle purchases. The game itself sends nothing.
• Google Play billing: to make the optional purchases possible.

Children

Idle Ages contains no ads and does not collect personal data from anyone who plays it, whatever their age.

Your rights

Because the game collects no personal data, there is normally nothing for us to show, correct or delete. If you have emailed us, you may ask us to see or delete that email under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Write to support@hollowsoulstudios.com. You also have the right to complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

Changes to this policy

If the way Idle Ages handles data ever changes, we will update this policy first and change the effective date above.
