An independent studio, located in the Netherlands
Small games with a warm glow.
We make mobile games you play because you like them, not because a timer is guilt-tripping you. Also a few small tools. The whole studio fits in one chair, which keeps the meetings short.
The lineup
Two lanterns, one already lit
One game you can download today. One that is still sharpening its teeth somewhere in the dark.

APK out now, full release expected 1 January 2027Idle Ages
Raise one village from a campfire to colonies among the stars. It mostly runs itself, which is more than most villages can say.
What makes it different: it will never ask you to watch a video for a bag of wood.

In development
SoulCatcher
A dark, turn-based RPG where you do not catch monsters. You bargain with griefs that happen to have teeth.
What makes it different: every Soul you bind is a choice, and every choice changes who you become.
House rules
Things we will not do to you
The industry has invented many clever ways to keep you tapping. We read the list, nodded politely and declined all of it.
-
Free, no strings
Our games are free and sell nothing inside. If you want to say thanks, there is Ko-fi, and a gift unlocks nothing.
-
No guilt engineering
No energy bar that runs dry right at the good part. No countdown insisting a deal will never come back. Stop whenever you like; the game will cope.
-
Your data stays yours
Idle Ages keeps your progress on your phone and collects nothing about you. This website does not even have a cookie to offer, and we feel a little bad about that.
Side quests
Small, useful tools
Every now and then we build a tool that does one job and then gets out of your way. No account, no ads, no mysterious "Pro" tab. The first ones are still on the workbench, making suspicious noises.
